The 10th-ranked Louisville men's soccer team got a sensational goal from junior Tim Kubel in the 55th minute and knocked off No. 17 Virginia in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament Sunday afternoon at Lynn Stadium.

Here's the game-winner:

"I thought it was one of our best 90 minutes we've played this season. Defensively, I thought our pressure we very good and we didn't give them any good looks," said Louisville head coach Ken Lolla. "Attacking, we created enough chances but we made it closer than it needed to be. I think if we had taken advantage of some of the chances we had in the first half, then it might have opened up the game. All in all, I thought it was a really complete effort by our guys and I was proud of that."

The third-seeded Cardinals (12-4-2) will now face second-seeded Wake Forest in the semifinals Wednesday night at 7 at Spry Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C. The Demon Deacons are also the No. 2 team in the country.

U of L dropped a 2-1 decision to Wake back on Oct. 15. You can catch Wednesday's match on ACC Network Extra.
