On the heels of Louisville's 36-10 loss to Houston, the ACC announced Saturday night that Louisville's regular season finale against Kentucky on Nov. 26 will kick off at noon and will be televised by ESPN.
The news means that the Battle for the Governor's Cup will go head-to-head with Michigan vs. Ohio State on ABC, a move that likely wouldn't have been made if Louisville were 10-1 and still in the thick of the College Football Playoff race.
This will mark the fourth consecutive year that the rivalry game between Louisville and Kentucky has been played at noon, and the first time since 2013 that the game has been televised by ESPN. The Cardinals have won their last five meetings with their in-state rivals, including a 38-24 victory in Lexington last year.
