Louisville men's soccer earns No. 4 overall seed for NCAA Tournament

A year after missing the NCAA Tournament for the first time in a decade, the Louisville men's soccer team is back in the big dance in a major way.

The Cards, who will carry a 12-5-2 record into the postseason, will be the tournament's No. 4 overall seed. U of L will open its run to the College Cup on Sunday against the winner of Thursday night's game between UCLA and Colgate.

Should the Cards advance out of the Sweet 16, they could face ACC brethren Notre Dame, the tournament's No. 13 seed, in the Sweet 16.

Undefeated Maryland is the tournament's No. 1 overall seed, with the ACC's Wake Forest and Clemson checking in just behind them.
