It's been something of a well-known secret for a while now, but it appears the cat is officially out of the bag: Louisville football's Oct. 14 home game against Duke will be a "Black Out" game for the team and the fans.
The Cardinals and Blue Devils will kickoff at 7 p.m. in a game that will be televised by ESPN. Duke is 2-3 (0-2 in the ACC) heading into this weekend's non-conference home game against Army.
Louisville is 3-2 all-time in "Black Out" games at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium, a record which includes last season's 20-17 loss to Clemson.
