Louisville lands 4-star power forward Lance Thomas

Norcross, Ga. power forward Lance Thomas became the fourth member of Rick Pitino's 2017 recruiting class when he announced his commitment to the Cards Sunday afternoon.

Thomas picked Louisville over fellow finalists, Miami, Florida and USC.

A four-star prospect, the 6'9, 210-pound Thomas ranks as the 15th-best power forward in the 2017 class according to Scout. He took an official visit to U of L last weekend and left saying that the campus and the basketball facilities "felt like home."

Thomas joins a 2017 class that already ranked in the nation's top 10 thanks to commitments from fellow power forward Malik Williams, point guard Darius Perry and small forward Jordan Nwora.
