We had some, umm, other stuff going on yesterday, so Puppy Pick 'Em is coming at you on Friday morning. The deadline to submit your picks is tonight at 6 p.m.
A reminder that in order to enter the contest, all you have to do is pick a winner for each game (and a tiebreaker) either in the comments section of this post, or by emailing them to me at MikeR@espnlouisville.com. The winner has to beat all the other competitors as well as John, our puppy picker and myself. If there's a push, the prize package carriers over to the next week. One entry per person.
Last week, four entries went 11-1, but the winner via tiebreak (even though he was still 24 points over Louisville's final score) was our own Carolina Cardinal. Now because CC lives outside Louisville (presumably in one of the Carolinas), he opted for a separate prize package and not the bourbon bus limousine tour.
That means this week's prize is doubly awesome ...
The winner of the week 8 pick 'em is going to win a bourbon bus limousine tour for four on Friday, Nov. 11. R & R Limousine will take you and three guests of your choice on a bourbon tour that will include five stops.
Here's the schedule:
10:30 a.m. -- Peerless Tour and Tasting
Noon -- Lunch at EWBE
1 p.m. -- Traditional Tour & Tasting Event at Evan Williams Bourbon Experience
3 p.m. -- Willett Tour & Tasting
4:30 p.m. -- Connoisseur Tasting at Heaven Hill Bourbon Heritage Center
Between the tickets, the ride and the admissions, this is a prize package worth more than $400.
Obviously, this is only open to people who are 21 years are older. If you are under 21, you can still play in this week's contest, you'll just win a different 93.9 The Ville prize package. Also, please make sure that you're in town, or at least close enough to utilize the tour for four.
Here are the games we're picking this week:
High School Game of the Week: Manual at Male (Friday)
No. 10 Wisconsin at Iowa (Saturday)
TCU at No. 12 West Virginia (Saturday)
Memphis at No. 24 Navy (Saturday)
Texas at Kansas State (Saturday)
No. 6 Texas A&M at No. 1 Alabama (Saturday)
No. 17 Arkansas at No. 21 Auburn (Saturday)
Old Dominion at Western Kentucky (Saturday)
No. 19 Utah at UCLA (Saturday)
Mississippi State at Kentucky (Saturday)
No. 23 Ole Miss at No. 25 LSU (Saturday)
NC State at No. 7 Louisville (Saturday)
TIEBREAKER: Number of points scored by Louisville
Again, the deadline to enter is today at 6 p.m.
Here's Cassius, the puppy of the week that will be picking alongside myself and John on this afternoon's Ramsey & Rutherford:
Meet our @kyhumane puppy of the week Cassius! He is a deaf pitbull that has been with @kyhumane since March so let's find him a home asap! pic.twitter.com/sRhOD4Eluu

I like his chances.
For more information on Cassius and other adoptable pets, check out the Kentucky Humane Society website or visit one of their area locations.
John and the puppy both went a respectable 8-4 last week, while I went 7-5. That means that, remarkably, through seven weeks we have a three-way tie in the race for on-air bragging right.
Here are the standings:
Mike: 57-27
John: 57-27
Puppy: 57-27
Happy picking.
