Louisville football stays at No. 7 in both polls

Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

A less than dominant effort against Duke Friday night didn't cost the Louisville football team in either of the major human polls, where they stayed at No. 7 in both.

Clemson's close call against NC State did cause them to fall from No. 3 to No. 4 in the AP poll, while future opponent Houston rose two spots to No. 11 despite being pushed to the brink at home by Tulsa.

Here are your rankings as we turn our attention to week eight.
