Uber Baby guaranteed victory on the radio show yesterday. That's all I needed to hear to know that the season is now finally on the right track.

I_medium The DJ K-Dogg Samford tailgate mix is now available for your ears and your tailgate.

I_medium The 24th-ranked U of L men's soccer team played No. 22 NC State to a 1-1 draw last night at Lynn Stadium. The Cards now own the odd-looking ACC record of 0-0-3.

The team wore these kits though, which should have been used as the tiebreaker:

I_medium The 8th-ranked Cardinal field hockey team dropped a tough 2-1 decision to No. 7 Wake Forest in a top 10 conference battle.

I_medium It was a better night for Louisville volleyball, which opened ACC play with a road sweep of Notre Dame. Erin Fairs had 17 kills, an ace and two blocks to lead the team to a decisive 25-23, 25-19, 25-16 win.

I_medium Cool video featuring U of L and the United Way.

I_medium D1Baseball.com says Corey Ray is arguably the top positional player MLB Draft prospect.

I_medium Here's an interesting Q&A with Louisville hoops recruit Andrew Jones, who is set to visit U of L next weekend.

I_medium If the wind ensemble is ready then there's no reason for you not to be ready.

I_medium If you missed the Roman Oben piece in Time yesterday, it's really worth your .... time.

I_medium Brandon Radcliff: still the man.

I_medium In case you weren't watching, things did not go well for Mike London and Virginia against Boise State last night.

I_medium Rockets site Space City Scoop attempts to decipher the ceiling for Montrezl Harrell.

I_medium Steve Jones has the full rundown of the list of U of L football visitors who may be in the house tonight for the Samford game.

I_medium If this doesn't convince you to tailgate with the Red Rage legends, nothing will.

I_medium Around than 35 MLB scouts are in town for Louisville baseball's scout day.

I_medium For you gamers.

I_medium U of L football commit Derek Dorsey talks to Scout.

I_medium So that show I told you I was watching in yesterday's news and notes? Just got picked up for 12 more episodes and another season.

Autumn of Mike.

I_medium Really need to win something this month. It's getting ridiculous.

I_medium Cardinal folks say today is the day the 2015 turnaround begins.

Hatcher's Air Raid style is known for its emphasis on passing and up-tempo play, but the Bulldogs have been fairly balanced while also running for 182.3 yards per game. That's an area where the Cards have struggled. U of L, which had the nation's No. 10 run defense last year, has taken a step back in allowing 206 rushing yards per game this season.

A game against an FCS opponent would presumably present Louisville its best chance so far to dominate the line of scrimmage and stop the run at a level resembling 2014. The Cards had preseason aspirations of being the best run defense in the ACC, but after three games, they're No. 12 in the 14-team league.

"We've got to continue to knock guys back," defensive tackle DeAngelo Brown said. "I feel like we still can reach those goals. We've got nine games left in the regular season, so we've got plenty of games left to rectify ourselves and get back to reaching our goals."

I_medium You're next, Hot Hot.

I_medium If you missed it, your week 4 college football TV schedule/thread is up.

I_medium And finally, beat Samford.
