Former Louisville star Montrezl Harrell apparently helped pull a woman from an overturned car near on the school's campus on Monday night.
With others, Harrell helped kick in a window, ran to a nearby business to get a fire extinguisher & waited for the fire crew to arrive #L1C4— Kenny Klein (@KKcards) September 15, 2015
And, sure, that sounds like a story that's too good to be true — remember Joshua Shaw? — but the person tweeting it into the ether is Kenny Klein, a Louisville senior associate athletic director, who would certainly know better than to spin a tale of Harrell the hero without making sure it was true. (That Harrell apparently did his helping with other witnesses is also cool.)
It's not clear why Harrell was near campus, given that he's about a month away from beginning his NBA career with the Houston Rockets in earnest — but, certainly, it seems like a good thing that he was.
