We've been hearing the question for months. There have been rumors coming from all directions, and a buzz surrounding one response or the other at various points throughout the summer. I'm talking, of course, about the question of whether or not alcohol will be sold at the Georgia Dome for Louisville's Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game against Auburn on Saturday.
Now, finally, we have an official answer.
According to Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl communications director Jessica Lumsden, yes, alcohol will be sold at the Georgia Dome on Saturday, but there is a small caveat. Once the kickoff at the start of the 3rd quarter happens, alcohol sales will end. There will be no exceptions.
If you're looking for a buzz, get it early. Hopefully, Louisville closing out a win in the 4th quarter will serve as a natural intoxicant for all of us around 6:30.
Spread the word, tell your friends, do the beer dance.
