Louisville-Clemson already sold out

U of L started selling single-game tickets for the 2015 football season today, but if you were hoping to snag a pair for the Cards' Sept. 17 showdown against Clemson, it would appear as though you're out of luck.

The single game tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. Monday morning, but fans who arrived early at the ticket office were informed that U of L's Thursday night game against the Tigers is already completely sold out. Tickets for the five other home games -- Houston (Sept. 12), Samford (Sept. 26), Boston College (Oct. 24), Syracuse (Nov. 7) and Virginia (Nov. 14) -- are available for $58 in the lower levels or $18 in the UPS Flight Deck. A limited number of season tickets also remain.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Papa John's Cardinal Stadium Ticket Office, located at Gate 2, by telephone through Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.

A quick perusal online shows that the cheapest lower level tickets currently being sold for the game are right around 300 bucks. Will that go down? Perhaps, but if you were planning on making it out to PJCS for that game and still don't have tickets in hand, you're probably going to have to make some moves over the course of the next month.
