Don't blink, you might miss a commitment. Georgia OLB/DE Tabarius Peterson (Tucker, GA) became Louisville's 17th verbal commitment for the 2016 class when he picked Louisville over pursuit from Iowa, Wake Forest, Duke, Georgia Tech, and Colorado State. Peterson (6'3, 220) is a composite three-star prospect according to 247Sports rating system. They also rank him the #80 player in the increasingly deep state of Georgia. Rivals lists him as the #50 player in Georgia.

If Charlie Strong made his living recruiting Florida, it's clear Bobby Petrino and his staff are doing the same in Georgia. A week ago, Louisville already had three commitments from Georgia. In the past week they added commitments from Jawon Pass, Michael Boykin, and now Peterson. Is Louisville going to abandon Florida? Not a chance. But Georgia continues to grow as a major talent producing state and Louisville can more than make a living heavily recruiting there as well.
