ACC Football Kickoff: Clemson, Georgia Tech picked to win divisions, Watson player of the year

Assembled media voted Clemson and Georgia Tech to win their respective divisions in 2015 and Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson the preseason player of year.

Assembled media here for ACC Football Kickoff predict that Louisville will finish third in the ACC Atlantic Division, Georgia Tech will win the Coastal Division, and Clemson will win the Atlantic and the conference title. You can see the full results of voting right now.

I expected Louisville would finish either third or fourth behind NC State. I'm not stunned to see that they received a first place vote (it wasn't me!). There are more than enough questions for every team in the ACC in 2015 to justify picking one of several different teams to win each division. Last year Louisville was also picked to finish third in the Atlantic. Most entertaining is NC State receiving a vote to win the conference but no votes to win the Atlantic (#goacc).

Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson was picked the preseason Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year. Pittsburgh running back James Conner finished second. A host of other players received votes as well including Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey and NC State quarterback Jacoby Brissett. No Louisville players received voted for player of the year.
