Louisville continued the positive recruiting momentum that started with yesterday's commitment of Jawon Pass by adding a commitment from South Carolina linebacker TJ Brunson Friday afternoon. Brunson is Louisville's 14th commitment for the class of 2016. Brunson is one of many prospects in town for Louisville's first "Friday Night Lights" style camp. He might be the only commitment Louisville gets out of the camp, either.
Brunson is a composite three-star prospect according to 247Sports. He's listed as the #18 player in South Carolina. He projects as an inside linebacker in Louisville's version of the 3-4 defense. 247Sports ranks him the nation's #36 inside linebacker.

Brunson listed offers from East Carolina, Georgia Southern, ACC division foe NC State, as well as in-state power South Carolina. With 14 commitments on board, Louisville's recruiting class sits at #30 in the 247Sports composite team rankings.
