Thoughts: Royce walked-on for the Cardinals back in 2012 and took a redshsirt that first season on campus. Donovan was a solid player for Male and earned his spot on the team but has had difficulty seeing the field due to Louisville becoming freaking ‘Linebacker U’ the last few seasons. Royce got some PT last year against Murray State and may have a few opportunities to get some action this year in late game scenarios. Royce is also the brother of former Cardinal and world renowned long snapper Grant Donovan, and you better believe if I have an excuse to bring up long snappers I will do so 100% of the time.

Good luck to Royce this season; and if you’re reading this man I think you deserve a stating spot in 2015. You’re an animal out there. I’ve seen you play, I’ve seen you dominate. Keep pressing it daily, show Grantham what you can do. The offensive strategy becomes moot when you’re on the field…(Royce, if you're reading this, you think you could get me one of those sweet ‘L’ sweatshirts like Bobby wears?) Quick feet, fast hands, throwing fullbacks to the side, nobody can get in your way man (how about now?) Women and children cower in fear, lineman cringe, there is no denying him when he wants to get in the backfield. I saw an interview with a NASA engineer last week about the shuttle launch…he was disappointed because the shuttle didn’t show the same force and explosiveness as Royce (now? I mean, that’s got to be worth a t-shirt or something…)

I have no idea what Royce is talking about, but it would be freakin’ awesome if Royce and Griffin were just posted up in a random location with a weight bench challenging unsuspecting passers-by to bench press competitions…
