Maverick Rowan plans to reclassify to the class of 2015

Maverick Rowan, whose recruitment has been the focus of many Louisville fans for what feels like two or three years, announced Sunday that he plans reclassify to the 2015 class. He will take summer classes, and if all goes according to plan, he will be eligible to play college basketball in the 2015-16 season.

Rowan also revealed Sunday that he is considering four schools, and that he will visit St. John's Monday. Although the four-star sharp-shooter didn't name any names, it's a safe assumption that U of L (the only other school Rowan has taken an official visit to) is among that group of four.

So is the saga of Maverick Rowan finally about to come to an end? Not likely.

"It's not going to be for a while," Rowan told Scout.com about his college decision. "Probably going to be towards the end of the summer."

Louisville has one remaining scholarship available for the upcoming season. Rick Pitino has said recently that the scholarship will be used on either a high school player (presumably Rowan), a regular transfer or another 5th year transfer.
