Graduate transfer Trey Lewis arrived in town for good over the weekend, but he won't be able to start working out with the rest of his Cardinal teammates for at least a couple of weeks.
Graduate transfer Trey Lewis has a muscle strain and will miss two weeks of workouts, U of L coach Rick Pitino said Monday. The 6-foot-2 guard arrived on campus this weekend with the hopes of getting an early start with his new teammates.
Lewis, freshmen guards Ryan McMahon and Donovan Mitchell and forward Deng Adel have all publicly said they are on campus, while Pitino confirmed Monday that five newcomers, including freshman forward Raymond Spalding, are on campus for summer classes. Grad transfer Damion Lee plans to arrive on campus over July 4 weekend. The returning players from last season's team have come back to school.
Not the greatest start in the world but still, welcome to Louisville, Trey.
