Dan McDonnell named ACC Coach of the Year, Brendan McKay Freshman of the Year

After after becoming the first squad in conference history to win 25 games in league play, it should come as little surprise that the Louisville baseball team is well represented in the ACC's list of honors and awards.

Highlighting the Cardinal honorees are Dan McDonnell and Brendan McKay, who have been named as the ACC's Coach of the Year and Rookie of the Year, respectively. Wake Forest's Will Craig was honored as the league's Player of the Year, and Clemson's Matthew Crownover as the Pitcher of the Year.

Additionally, five U of L players were named first team All-ACC, the most of any team in the conference.
