It appears Louisville will get a chance at revenge for its Elite Eight loss to Michigan State sooner than it anticipated.
According to ESPN's Brett McMurphy, the Cards and Spartans will square off in East Lansing as part of the 2015 ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

This will be the 10th all-time meeting between Louisville and Michigan State, but the first in a regular season game since 1999. The Spartans knocked off the better-seeded Cards in both the 2009 and 2015 Elite Eight, but U of L returned the favor with an upset of Tom Izzo's top-seeded MSU team in the 2012 Sweet 16.
This matchup will be a showdown of the only two teams in college basketball to make the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament in each of the last four seasons. Louisville and Michigan State are also two of the 14 teams in Division-I that have won multiple national championships.
The Cardinals lead the overall series with the Spartans, 5-4.
UPDATE: U of L has confirmed the game, which will take place on Dec. 2.
