The first member of Rick Pitino's highly touted class of 2015 to commit to the Cards is also the first one to enroll in classes at U of L.
According to Cardinal Authority's Jody Demling, Deng Adel has enrolled and is set to participate in U of L's first summer session of classes. That means the five-star forward can work out at the Yum Center practice facility with the Louisville staff starting today.
The other members of Louisville's incoming class are expected to enroll at U of L later this month.
The three other freshmen - Ray Spalding, Donovan Mitchell and Ryan McMahon - and the two fifth-year seniors - Trey Lewis and Damion Lee - are all expected to enrolled at U of L later this month and join the team in the second semester of summer classes.
Classes for term one of summer school began today with classes for the second term slated to begin on June 2.
Obviously, getting everyone who plans on being a member of the 2015-16 team enrolled and familiar with one another before the team's August exhibition trip is of paramount importance. That being the case, it's comforting to know that a freshman who may be relied upon heavily right out of the gate is already here and ready to get going with his college career.
