Louisville fans were denied bringing Chicken (Knowles) to the Bucket. But perhaps we'll all be comforted by enjoying TJ "Big Snack" London at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium beginning in 2016. The enormous defensive tackle (6'3, 402 lbs according to his 247Sports profile) out of Carver High School in Columbus, GA committed to the Cardinals Wednesday afternoon.

London is the quintessential 3-4 defense nose tackle. He's huge and is almost never moved backwards in the highlight video below. Todd Grantham has had success with nose tackles of this size in the past at Georgia. John Jenkins played nose tackle for Grantham at Georgia at 6'4, 350 lbs or so and was very effective eating up blockers and freeing up linebackers to roam. London projects in a similar role (we'll see if he is near the caliber Jenkins was, I'm merely comparing size and use in Grantham's defense).
London is rated the #58 player in Georgia by 247Sports and lists offers from NC State, Mississippi State, and Kentucky. He attended Kentucky's Junior Day back in February. He joins Keaton Torre, Desmond Fitzpatrick, and Baylen Buchanan as Louisville's fourth commitment for the 2016 class. Fans should watch how relatively small the 2016 class could turn out to be. After losing a large number of seniors and early entrants into the NFL Draft, there might not be room to sign a very large 2016 class. Still, between GG Robinson, Drew Bailey, and now London for 2016, Louisville continues to add quality defensive linemen to the defense that fit Grantham's mold.
