Northern Iowa is a 2.5-point favorite over Louisville

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Despite being the better seed, Louisville will be an underdog when it takes the court against Northern Iowa in Seattle on Sunday night. The Panthers are currently a 2.5-point favorite at just about every sports book on the planet.

This will be the first time Louisville hasn't been favored to win a game in the NCAA Tournament since squaring off against No. 1 overall seed Kentucky in the 2012 Final Four.

This will be the sixth time this season that the Cards will go into a game as an underdog. Louisville is 1-4 in those games so far, with road losses to North Carolina and Virginia, a home loss to UK and a neutral site loss to UNC in the ACC Tournament. U of L won as a home underdog in the regular season finale against UVA.
