Louisville ended one of the more difficult weeks in program history by giving arguably its best performance of the season in an 81-59 win at Florida State on Saturday.

The Cards shot just under 50 percent from the field, assisted on 20 of their 31 made shots, and forced 21 FSU turnovers on their way to a rout. Wayne Blackshear led all scorers with 18 points, and Anton Gill came off the bench to hit four three-pointers to chip in 14 himself. Gill had previously scored just 15 in the entire year of 2015.

Perhaps the most remarkable thing about Louisville's performance is that it came on an afternoon where leading scorer Terry Rozier was just 3 of 14 from the field and scored just 10 points. Rozier made up for the off shooting game by dishing out 9 assists and recording 6 of U of L's 10 steals.

I don't think any of us could have asked for much more in the Cards' final game before March. The team took all the good vibes from the final 8 minutes of the Georgia Tech game, and carried them to Tallahassee for a performance that was perhaps their most complete of the year. The attitude, the effort, and even the execution are all at a peak level right now, and that's more than anyone could have hoped for after everything that's happened over the course of the last couple of weeks.

Now, it's on to a huge final week of the regular season where Louisville will get to take a shot against a pair of teams currently ranked in the top 10. For now, however, it's time to enjoy this one for the rest of the weekend.

Here's your final box score:
