Louisville fans who made it out to Fairdale High School on Sunday (or who watched the game on TV) got a firsthand look at what V.J. King hopes to be bringing to the U of L basketball program this time next year.
King, a 5-star forward who singed with the Cardinals last month, scored 35 points to go along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals, as his Paul VI squad ripped North Bullitt, 103-51. King and his current teammates had watched Louisville take care of Western Kentucky at the KFC Yum Center earlier in the day, and so King's future teammates decided to return the favor.
