Since this news broke yesterday, a lot of you have asked how you can reach out to Kyle Kuric and his family. U of L has the answer in this release:

Kyle Kuric, a former University of Louisville guard/forward who as a senior helped lead the Cardinals to the 2012 NCAA Final Four, will have brain surgery on Thursday in Barcelona, Spain.

The Kuric family has been overwhelmed with messages, thoughts and prayers and are extremely grateful.  Individuals wishing to send cards or notes of support can send to this address and they will be forwarded to Kyle:

Yesterday, CB Gran Canaria released information that former Kuric was diagnosed with a brain tumor.  That announcement from his current professional team can be found at this link: http://cbgrancanaria.net/noticias/liga-endesa/kyle-kuric-sera-intervenido-de-un-meningioma-en-los-proximos-dias/.

"We've had some pretty big disappointments in the past few months, but nothing compares to this,"  UofL men's basketball coach Rick Pitino said yesterday.  "Our prayers and good wishes go out for a healthy and speedy recovery for Kyle.  He's one of the finest young men that I have had the privilege to coach and our Louisville family's prayers are with him."

The family sincerely appreciates the incredible outpouring of love, prayers and support.  They cannot respond to everyone personally, but all should know that they are very grateful and it means more than they can express.  Continued prayers for Kyle, the Kuric family, and the surgical team are appreciated.
