Louisville-Pitt will not be a nooner

Louisville's streak of consecutive games starting at noon or 12:30 will end when the Cards take the field at Pittsburgh in two Saturdays, news which comes as little consolation to tailgating fanatics in the Derby City.

The ACC announced Monday that the Louisville/Pitt game will begin at either 3:30 on ESPN2/ESPNU, or at 3:45 on ESPNews.

Louisville's 12:30 game against Virginia this week will mark the sixth time this season that Cardinals have started play on a Saturday at either noon or 12:30. The two non-week night exceptions have been a 3:30 kickoff against Auburn in Atlanta, and a 6 p.m. start against Samford back on Sept. 26.
