Celebrate U of L's "Day of Giving" on Tuesday

On Tuesday, Oct. 20, University of Louisville students, alumni, faculty, staff, fans, and friends will come together for one common purpose: to fund student scholarships, or the U of L area you feel most passionate about, and change lives.

#UofLDayofGiving is a 24 hour, social media-based campaign during Homecoming week to activate 1,798 donors to help fund scholarships for Louisville students. Everyone across campus and in our community can get involved in #UofLDayofGiving and give back to the next generation of students. Would you please join us in giving back?

Our goal for #UofLDayofGiving is have 1,798 total donors by 11:59 p.m. on October 20.  Join this exciting educational initiative and change student lives. Here are some ways to get involved:

1. Get your office, department, school or network involved in #UofLDayofGiving. Encourage them donate on Oct 20th and share about #UofLDayofGiving on social media.

2. Utilize our social media tools and images to start a countdown leading up to the Oct 20th.

3. Challenge other offices, departments, or schools to a giving challenge. We'll announce the top colleges/schools, residence halls, and graduating class years who rallied the most donors to support #UofLDayofGiving

4. Use the hashtag #UofLDayofGiving to tell people why you gave back to the university
