With national signing day less than two weeks away, Louisville and head coach Bobby Petrino went a long way toward solidifying one of the biggest positions of need with a late Saturday commitment from Pembroke Pines, FL wide receiver Emonee Spence. Spence committed to Louisville while in town on an official visit.

Spence (6'3, 180) is a composite three-star recruit according to 247 Sports. Spence is listed by 247 Sports as the #85 player in the state of Florida. He was at one time committed to the University of Miami before decommitting on December 9th. He lists offers from Miami, Auburn, Kentucky, Michigan State, West Virginia, TCU, and a host of other major programs across the south.
