Darrell Griffith's New Restaurant 'Griff's' Is Opening Jan. 26

Louisville foodies and Cardinal fans alike will have a new place to check out starting next Monday. Darrell Griffith has partnered with restaurant management company Legendary Brands to launch Griff's, an upscale sports restaurant inspired by Griffith's career and accolades, which will have its grand opening on Jan. 26.

"This is a very special opportunity," Griffith said in a release. "Everything I've done in this city and community I truly believed in. To build a restaurant using my name meant it had to fully align with my passionate devotion to the city and standard for excellence. I came in with specific ideas and I've loved seeing our team's vision come to life."

Griff's first location will be at 323 W. Cardinal Blvd. in the heart of U of L's Cardinal Towne complex.

"Cardinal Towne is the perfect location for us to start with," said Griffith. "Whether you come to watch a game or simply enjoy a game-winning meal, I believe we have something here for everyone."

I have spent a solid chunk of my life wishing I could casually utter the phrase "I'm going to grab a drink at Griff's," and now that dream can finally become a reality.
