The NFL Players Association is proud to announce that safety Terell Floyd of Louisville has committed to playing in the 2015 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
Terell Floyd switched from cornerback to safety leading into his senior campaign with the Cardinals. The 5-10, 203-pound starter notched 49 total tackles on the season, including five for a loss. He added an interception, seven passes broken up, eight passes defensed, two quarterback hurries and a forced fumble to his stats. He earned his undergraduate degree from Louisville in December.
In the 2013 Sugar Bowl, Floyd returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown on the first play of the game, helping No. 22 Louisville notch a convincing 33-23 upset win over heavily favored No. 4 Florida.
The native of Fort Pierce, Florida will be one of the talented draft-eligible seniors competing in the all-star game on Saturday, January 17 at StubHub Center on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills in Carson, California.
Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised live on ESPN2. ESPNU will also air live broadcasts from practices on Wednesday, January 14 and Thursday, January 15.
