Louisville football recruiting: Receiver Paul Harris commits

Louisville has landed a commitment from another talented receiver. This time, former four-star Tennessee signee Paul Harris.

Louisville stands to lose a number of its top receivers after the 2014 season and the coaching staff is doing its best to make sure the position remains a team strength going forward. Today, Louisville received a commitment from Iowa Western Community College receiver Paul Harris (6'4, 200). As a JUCO player, Harris is listed as a composite three-star prospect by 247Sports.

Harris was originally rated a four-star receiver out of Frederick Douglass High School in Upper Marlboro, MD when he signed and early enrolled at Tennessee in 2013. He then transferred to Iowa Western Junior College. As a high school prospect he picked Tennessee over a big final push from both Oregon and USC. He also participated in The Opening, a camp held on the Nike campus for the nation's elite high school prospects.

Harris joins Traveon Samuel, Dahu Green, Jaylen Smith, Trey Smith, and Texas A&M transfer JaQuay Williams as receivers that will be available for the 2015 season. They'll be joined by James Allen at running back and Lamar Jackson at quarterback. Louisville shouldn't have any problem playing Petrino's offense in years to come.
