Could have at least run it by me before scheduling it on the same day as my wedding, but I guess it's cool.
Here's the release from U of L or whatever:
One of the most popular traditions surrounding the University of Louisville football program, Fan Day, will be held on Aug. 16, indoors at Cardinal Arena and adjacent gymnasium from 3-5 p.m.
This year will also feature the men's soccer, volleyball, and field hockey programs. Women's soccer is on the road for exhibition match. Attendees must RSVP by Aug.14 at www.GoCards.com/FanDay.
The annually free event gives fans a unique opportunity to interact with their favorite players and coaches from the football program and other fall sports. 5,000 Autograph cards will be distributed to fans in attendance, and there will continue to be a one item per person limit for autographing.
In addition to the UofL players and head coaches signing autographs, selected football players, Ladybirds, and Louie the Mascot will solely take pictures with fans in a designated location in Cardinal Arena.
Full amount of autographs and photos are not guaranteed for all attendees, pending event size.
Inflatables for kids, interactive sport activity stations, face painting and photo booths will also be set up for fans.
Cardinal Authentic will sell merchandise in the lobby and concessions snacks also will be sold. Ticket windows are scheduled to be open to purchase tickets to all of the ticketed fall sports.
Free parking will be available in the Floyd Street Garage and around campus. The event concludes precisely at 5 p.m. so that student-athletes and coaches can proceed to their evening schedule.
