Running back James Allen of Citra, Fla. is Louisville's fourth commitment from the class of 2015. Allen had been considered a Tennessee lean for the bulk of his recruitment.
"I loved my visit up there," Allen told Ryan Bartow of 247Sports. "I really like the facilities, the coaches and the style of play. I really like running back coach Kolby Smith, wide receiver coach Lamar Thomas and Coach (Bobby) Petrino."
A three-star prospect, the 5'10, 180-pound Allen rushed for 845 yards and eight touchdowns last season as a junior at North Marion High School. He held scholarship offers from the Volunteers, Miami, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss and Kentucky, among others.
Here's Allen in action:
I dig it.
