In a press release Tuesday afternoon, the ACC announced the kickoff times and television coverage for the first three weeks of the season as well as some of the primetime matchups later on in the year.
As far as Louisville is concerned, the start times and TV coverage for five of the Cardinals' 12 tilts were announced.
Here are the major details you're looking for:
Louisville vs. Miami (Monday, Sept. 1) -- 8 p.m. ESPN
Louisville vs. Murray State (Saturday, Sept. 6) -- 7 p.m. ESPN3.com
Louisville At Virginia (Saturday, Sept. 13) -- 12:30 p.m. ACC Network
Louisville At Syracuse (Friday, Oct. 3) -- 7 p.m. ESPN
Louisville vs. Florida State (Thursday, Oct. 30) -- 7:30 p.m. ESPN
In addition to this information, we also know that Louisville's Nov. 22 game at Notre Dame will kickoff at 3:30 and be broadcast on NBC.
I suppose it's a little disappointing that the ESPN3 days aren't entirely behind us, but...I mean, it's Murray State. Plus, the late kickoff time sort of makes up for it, at least if you're in town. Also, you can't underestimate the value of those extra 30 minutes when it comes to playing the early game on Saturday. More time for food, drinking and mental preparation. I like the style, ACC.
