Senorise Perry Signs With Chicago

Rob Foldy-USA TODAY Sports

Senorise Perry has become the ninth former Cardinal to sign a rookie contract this month by inking a deal with the Chicago Bears. This news comes via the Chicago Tribune, which claims Perry was signed after performing well while attending the Bears' rookie camp on a tryout basis last week.

Perry was Louisville's second-leading rusher in 2013, carrying 141 times for 677 yards and a touchdown. He also caught 18 passes for 178 yards and another score.

In Chicago, Perry will re-link with former U of L defensive lineman Brandon Dunn, who signed a rookie deal with the Bears earlier this month. He'll also see a familiar face in defensive line coach Clint Hurtt, who spent the past four seasons on Charlie Strong's staff.

Preston Brown puts the status of the Cardinal rookies in visual form:

We have a fun few months ahead following the progress of all these guys.
