After ending the regular season with a weekend sweep of Cincinnati, the Louisville baseball team now turns its attention to this week's AAC Tournament, where the Cardinals will be the No. 1 seed.
The format for this year's tourney is a little different than the one fans may remember, as the eight teams participating will be divided into two four-team pools and will play three set games to produce the two squads who will play for the league's postseason title next Sunday.
U of L will begin pool play on Thursday against eighth-seeded Memphis, and then take on No. 5 USF and No. 4 Rutgers On Friday and Saturday, respectively. The championship game will be played on Sunday at noon, and will be carried live on ESPNU.
