ESPN has confirmed that Louisville will face Indiana in the 2014 Jimmy V. Classic, and that the game will take place on Dec. 9 inside Madison Square Garden in New York. The Cards and Hoosiers will tip-off at approximately 9 p.m., as they will be following the 7 p.m. game played between Villanova and Maryland.

Louisville and IU have not met since 2003, when the eighth-ranked Cardinals topped No. 19 Indiana, 95-76. The Hoosiers own the advantage in the all-time series, however, 10-6.

Though there's still much to be decided, Louisville's non-conference schedule for 2014-15 is shaping up to be loaded. The Cards will open the season against Richard Pitino's Minnesota squad in Puerto Rico, and then there are the games against IU and Kentucky, and a to-be-named opponent in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Tickets for the Jimmy V Classic will go on sale at a later date this fall. Ticket prices range from $15-$275 and will be available for purchase at the Madison Square Garden Box Office, Ticketmaster charge by phone at (866) 858-0008 and online at www.ticketmaster.com and www.thegarden.com.
