The Numbers: Rick Pitino And The Sweet 16

By now you've probably heard at least something about Rick Pitino's dominance in the Sweet 16. The Louisville head coach will be looking for his 12th win in 12 career appearances in the round when the Cards face Kentucky on Friday night in Indianapolis.

That Pitino is 11-0 in Regional semifinal appearances for his career only tells half the story. The man has been flat out dominant in the Sweet 16, winning all but last year's game against Oregon by double digits, winning five times by 21 points or more and twice by more than 30.
