NOTES:

--Louisville temporarily has the edge over Cincinnati (both teams are 13-3 and split their head-to-head series) because of its victory over third place SMU. The Bearcats split their season series with the Mustangs, while the Cards will play their second game against Larry Brown's team in Dallas on Wednesday.

--Connecticut earns the No. 4 seed over Memphis by virtue of sweeping the Tigers in the regular season.

--Houston is locked into the tournament's No. 6 seed.

--South Florida's Jan. 28 win over SMU is allowing it to claim the No. 8 seed over Central Florida.
