Louisville had a large number of visitors in town this weekend and has already cashed in one by getting South Carolina commitment Jaire Alexander to flip to Louisville.

Louisville hosted a large and talented number of recruits for official visits this weekend and their efforts have already been rewarded. Jaire Alexander (6'0, 175), a cornerback out of Charlotte, NC, has flipped his commitment from South Carolina to Louisville while on his official visit this weekend.

Alexander is a very physical corner. On the highlight video below you can see he's not the stereotypical corner that is afraid or unable to come up and make tackles in space. Alexander is rated a consensus three-star recruit, rated the #72 cornerback in the country. He's Louisville's 22nd commitment for the class of 2015.

With Terell Floyd graduating and Charles Gaines sure to enter the NFL Draft early, replenishing the defensive backfield has been a big priority for the Louisville staff. Adding transfer Shaq Wiggins from Georgia and getting commitments from Alexander, Khane Pass, Kareem Orr, TJ Jallow, and Darius Smith will go a long way towards making sure the secondary will remain a position of strength for the Louisville defense.
