Offensive line is Louisville's biggest position of need for the recruiting class of 2015 and Bobby Petrino's staff probably wrapped up a big (literally and figuratively) group with the commitment of Pratville, AL offensive lineman Kenny Thomas. To avoid any confusion, Kenny Thomas committed today but is not a January enrollee (Card Chronicle will have a full write-up of the players that signed today and will enroll in January later) like many of the players that actually signed with Louisville today.
Thomas (6'6, 350) is a three-star rated prospect by all of the recruiting services and is one of the better prospects out of the state of Alabama. At his height and with his arm length, he surely projects as a future offensive tackle (and if you view profile, he bears a very similar resemblance to current Louisville offensive tackle Jamon Brown). Thomas listed offers from Kentucky, Mississippi State, and Virginia Tech. With Thomas, Louisville has certainly added tremendous size with its offensive line commitments for next year.
