Louisville was unable to pull off the upset of #2 Florida State last night. But, it did receive some good news for the future as four-star, class of 2016 receiver Desmond Fiztpatrick (6'1, 185) committed to Louisville early Friday morning, according to Louisville's 247Sports site Inside the Ville.

Fitzpatrick is Louisville's third commitment for the class of 2016, joining fellow commitments four-star quarterback Keaton Torre out of Oklahoma, and defensive back Baylen Buchanan. You can check out FItzpatrick's junior year highlights below.

Fitzpatrick likely won't be the only commitment in the coming days. Louisville made the most, in terms of official visits, of having Florida State in town. Junior college standouts Tim Cook, Khalil Hunter, and Raymond Epps could all make the call for Louisville soon. Additionally, Alabama OLB/S Dee Smith will announce his decision tonight between Louisville and Kentucky with most expecting him to pick Louisville.

Petrino and staff are doing a very good job restocking a receiving corps that is going to suffer heavy losses to graduation after the 2014 season. Four-star Texas A&M transfer JaQuay Williams will be eligible to play next season. Louisville has junior college standout Paul Harris and high school senior Traveon Samuel committed and set to enroll in January. Additionally Louisville has Dahu Green, Jaylen Smith, and Trey Smith all committed for 2015 as well as 2014 signees Javonte Bagley who has played sparingly as a freshman and is redshirting slot receiver Cornelius Sturghill.
