Bobby Petrino is expected to return for a second stint as the head football coach at Louisville, this according to reports from multiple networks including Yahoo and ESPN.
According to the reports, U of L athletic director Tom Jurich is expected to meet with Petrino Wednesday evening to finalize the details of his new contract. Jurich will meet with members of the Personnel Committee of the U of L Alumni Association on Thursday morning to discuss his choice.
In addition to the head coaching news, ESPN is also reporting that Petrino plans to retain defensive line coach Clint Hurtt, who has an NCAA ShowCause from actions which took place during his time at Miami.
