Charlie Strong Has Scheduled A Saturday Morning Staff Meeting

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

With rumors swirling that he has agreed in principle to terms to become the next football coach at the University of Texas, Card Chronicle has learned that Charlie Strong has scheduled a 9 a.m. Saturday meeting with the Louisville coaching staff.

While multiple reports on Friday evening indicated that Strong had already accepted the job with Texas, University of Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich told ESPN. com early Saturday morning that Strong has not yet accepted any position.

Strong is 37-15 in four years at Louisville, and has led the Cardinals to three bowl victories.

Deep breaths everyone. Regardless of what happens, Louisville football is going to be okay.
