Less than 48 hours away from the showdown between the top two teams in the AAC, Cincinnati still isn't sure about the status of second-leading scorer Justin Jackson.
The 6'8 forward hurt his ankle during the first half of Sunday's game at Temple and didn't play the final 34 minutes. Jackson has been one of the most improved players in the country so far this season, averaging 11.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.4 blocks.
Though Cincinnati is still listing Jackson as questionable for the game, the senior has his own thoughts on the matter.
Mick Cronin: "If he walks in here he will tell you he's playing." 15 minutes later....Justin Jackson: "I'm playing." #Bearcats

Despite Jackson's confidence, he was held out of practice on Tuesday, and head coach Mick Cronin said Wednesday morning that his status was still questionable. My guess is we won't know anything one way or the other until game day.
