DeVante Parker Will Return To Louisville For His Senior Season

Apparently the opportunity to terrorize a few ACC secondaries was just too much for DeVante Parker to pass up.

From the mouth of No. 9 himself:

One of the best deep-threats in the history of U of L football, Parker will return to Louisville after a junior season in which he recorded 55 catches and led the Cards with 885 receiving yards and a school record-tying 12 touchdowns. The former Ballard High star already ranks 10th all-time at Louisville in career receiving yards (1,920), and would need just six touchdown catches in 2014 to break Ibn Green's career record of 33.

Parker has been at his best for the Cards when the stage has been the brightest. In U of L's Sugar Bowl win over Florida a year ago, he made an unbelievable over-the-shoulder touchdown grab that made highlight reels across the nation. In last week's Russell Athletic Bowl trouncing of Miami, Parker caught nine passes for 142 yards and a touchdown.
