Chane Behanan's career at Louisville will end with two trips to the Final Four in as many seasons, a West Region MVP award and a national championship. The question now is whether or not those resume items will be the only ones he takes with him when he begins his professional career.
Should Behanan choose to sit out next season and use his final season of college eligibility in 2015-16, he won't do so for a program currently playing its basketball in the AAC or ACC.
"In accordance with NCAA Bylaw 13.1.1.3, the University of Louisville grants all institutions with the exception of Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) member schools permission to contact University of Louisville student athlete Chane Behanan," according to a letter sent by U of L Associate AD for Compliance John Carns.
"Chane has expressed an interest in pursuing opportunities at other institutions in the sport of Men's Basketball.
"In addition, Chane is currently subject to the American Athletic Conference (AAC) intra-conference transfer policy for the 2013-14 academic year."
Plenty of schools have expressed interest in becoming the landing spot for Behanan, including - according to SNY's Adam Zagoria - Arizona State, Northwestern, Utah, Delaware, Oregon and Iowa State. Anthony Wireman of AllkyHoops.com adds that Western Kentucky, Gonzaga and Wichita State have also expressed interest.
While the interest is as expected, I think at this point the more likely scenario is that Behanan signs with an agent and begins to train for all of the pre-draft festivities. In the probable event that he winds up not being selected, he'll still have no trouble finding work either in the States or abroad.

Before any final decision is made, Chane ought to at least consider using his final year of eligibility to help out DePaul. He owes them that much.
