Louisville point guard Chris Jones will not play in Thursday night's game against Houston because of what head coach Rick Pitino deemed an oblique injury during his pregame press conference on Wednesday.
Jones has appeared to be noticeably hurt in each of U of L's last two games, and played less than a minute in the second half of the Cards' win over SMU last Sunday. The news will likely result in the third career start for freshman guard Terry Rozier, who scored eight points in 28 minutes against the Mustangs.
Jones is Louisville's third-leading scorer (11.3 ppg) and ranks second on the team in assists (2.9 apg).
