How Former Cards In The NFL Fared: Week 3

Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

Everyone waits until the last second to do their former player NFL recaps. Everyone I know does. Shut up.

Michael Bush (RB, Chicago Bears)

Rushed eight times for nine yards and scored his first touchdown of the season in Chicago's 40-23 win over Pittsburgh.

Harry Douglas (WR, Atlanta Falcons)

Had just one catch for nine yards and lost a fumble in Atlanta's 27-23 loss to Miami.

Bilal Powell (RB, New York Jets)

Had a career day, carrying 27 times for 149 yards in New York's 27-20 win over Buffalo.

David Akers (K, Detroit Lions)

Bounced back from a bad performance the week before by hitting both of his field goal attempts and all three extra points as the mighty Lions knocked off Washington.

Elvis Dumervil (DE, Baltimore Ravens)

Had two tackles and one quarterback hit as the Ravens blasted Houston, 30-9.

William Gay (CB, Pittsburgh Steelers)

Tied for second-best on the team with six tackles, including one tackle for loss in the Steelers' loss to Chicago.

Breno Giacomini (OT, Seattle Seahawks)

Started at right tackle in Seattle's 45-17 win over Jacksonville.

Eric Wood (C, Buffalo Bills)

Started at center in the Bills' narrow loss to the Jets.

Gary Barnidge (TE, Cleveland Browns)

Played on special teams but didn't record a statistic in Cleveland's win over Minnesota.

Johnny Patrick (CB, San Diego Chargers)

Recorded seven tackles, one pass breakup and one tackle for loss in San Diego's 20-17 loss to Tennessee.

Greg Scruggs (DE, Seattle Seahawks)

Remains on the inactive list as he rehabs his knee. Made fun of Breno Giacomini's eyebrows.

Byron Stingily (OT, Tennessee Titans)

Was on the inactive list for Tennessee this week.
