Louisville freshman cornerback Chucky Williams has been cleared by the NCAA, and will report to Louisville and begin practicing with the team on Friday. This according to Mike Hughes of Inside the Ville, who spoke with Williams' former coach, Mike Tunsil, at Champagnat Catholic.
Williams, a three-star athlete who had offers from Nebraska, Clemson and Arkansas, among others, flipped his commitment from Ole Miss to Louisville back in January. As a senior at Champagnat, he played quarterback, running back, wide receiver, cornerback, safety, and returned punts and kicks.
The addition of Williams means that outside of Jacksonville linebacker Donel Elam, all members of Charlie Strong's recruiting class of 2013 qualified and will be members of the team this fall.
